حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

جِيءَ بِأَبِي قَتِيلًا يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَجَعَلَتْ فَاطِمَةُ أُخْتُهُ تَبْكِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَبْكِيهِ مَا زَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُظِلُّهُ بِأَجْنِحَتِهَا حَتَّى رُفِعَ»

✧ My father was brought slain on the day of Uhud, and his sister Fatimah began to weep over him. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Do not weep over him, for the angels kept shading him with their wings until he was lifted up."
