✧ Fatimah bt. Asad bin Hashim, the mother of Ali b. Abi Talib.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ الْأَوْدِيُّ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَيَّاشٍ الْعَامِرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ

«أَعْتَقَتْ بِنْتُ حَمْزَةَ غُلَامًا لَهَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَمَاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَةً فَأَعْطَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ النِّصْفَ وَأَعْطَى ابْنَتَهُ النِّصْفَ»

✧ The daughter of Hamzah freed a slave boy of hers during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he died leaving a daughter. So the Prophet ﷺ gave the daughter of Hamzah half and gave his daughter half.
