حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ

«أَنَّ ابْنَةً لِحَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ أَعْتَقَتْ غُلَامًا لَهَا فَمَاتَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَةً لَهُ فَاقْتَسَمَا الْمَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا نِصْفَيْنِ»

✧ A daughter of Hamzah b. ʿAbd al-Muttalib freed a slave boy of hers, and he died during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ leaving a daughter, so the two of them divided the wealth between them in two halves.
