حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ثنا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْجَذْمِيُّ عَنِ الْجَارُودِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «ضَالَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِ حَرْقُ النَّارِ فَلَا تَقْرَبَنَّهَا» وَقَالَ «الضَّالَّةُ وَاللُّقَطَةُ تَجِدُهَا فَانْشُدْهَا وَلَا تَكْتُمْ وَلَا تُغَيِّبْ فَإِنْ عَرَفْتَ فَأَدِّهَا وَإِلَّا فَمَالُ اللهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “The stray camel of a Muslim is the burning of the Fire, so do not approach it.” And he said, “A stray animal and a found item you find: announce it, and do not conceal or hide it. If you recognize (its owner), return it; otherwise, it is the wealth of Allah, which He gives to whomever He wills.”
