حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ النَّاقِدُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْعَطَّارُ ثنا خَلْفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ أَبَانَ الْمُكَاتَبِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ سَنُوطَا عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ

أَنَّ حَمْزَةَ وَالنَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَذَاكَرَا الدُّنْيَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ فَمَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهَا بُورِكَ لَهُ فِيهَا وَرَبَّ مُتَخَوِّضٍ فِي مَالِ اللهِ وَمَالِ رَسُولِهِ لَهُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

✧ Hamzah and the Prophet ﷺ were discussing the world, and the Prophet ﷺ said: “Indeed the world is green and sweet; so whoever takes it by its right is blessed for him in it, and many a one plunges into the wealth of Allah and the wealth of His Messenger — for him is the Fire on the Day of Resurrection.”
