حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حِسَابٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ سَنُوطَا عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَتَى حَمْزَةَ وَكَانَتْ خَوْلَةُ امْرَأَةُ حَمْزَةَ فَتَذَاكَرُوا الدُّنْيَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ فَمَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهَا بَارِكَ اللهُ فِيهَا وَرَبَّ مُتَخَوِّضٍ فِي مَالِ اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ لَهُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came to Hamzah, and Khawlah, the wife of Hamzah, was there, and they discussed the world. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Indeed the world is sweet and green; so whoever takes it by its right, Allah blesses it for him, and many a one plunges into the wealth of Allah and His Messenger — for him is the Fire on the Day of Resurrection.”
