حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَفَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ

«صَنَعْتُ سُفْرَةً لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ حِينَ أَرَادَ يُهَاجِرُ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ» قَالَتْ فَلَمْ نَجِدْ لِسُفْرَتِهِ وَلَا لِسِقَائِهِ مَا يَرْبِطُهَا بِهِ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَاللهِ مَا أَجِدُ شَيْئًا أَرْبِطَهُ إِلَّا نِطَاقِي فَقَالَ شُقِّيِهِ بِاثْنَتَيْنِ فَارْبِطِي بِوَاحِدٍ السِّقَاءَ وَبِالْآخَرِ السَّفَرَةَ «فَفَعَلَتْ فَلِذَلِكَ سُمِّيَتْ ذَاتَ النِّطَاقَيْنِ»

✧ "I prepared a traveling provision for the Prophet ﷺ in the house of Abu Bakr when he wanted to emigrate to Madinah." She said: We could not find anything with which to tie his provision bag or his water skin. I said to Abu Bakr, "By Allah, I find nothing to tie it with except my waist wrapper." He said, "Split it into two, tie the water skin with one, and the provision bag with the other." She did so, and for that reason she was called Dhat al-Nitaqayn (She of the Two Waist Wrappers).
