حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ السَّبَّاقِ زَعَمَ
أَنَّ جُوَيْرِيَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ «هَلْ مِنْ طَعَامٍ؟» فَقَالَتْ لَا وَاللهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا عِنْدِي طَعَامٌ إِلَّا عَظْمٌ مِنْ شَاةٍ أُعْطِيَتْهَا مَوْلَاتِي مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ قَالَ «قَرِّبِيهِ فَقَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحَلَّهَا»

✧ Juwayriyah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, informed him that the Messenger of God ﷺ entered upon her and said, “Is there any food?” She said, “No, by God, O Messenger of God. I have no food except a bone of a sheep given to my freedwoman from charity.” He said, “Bring it close, for it has reached its proper place.”
