✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to deliver his sermons on the pulpit while sitting and someone denied it, and Jabir said: "I bear witness that he used to deliver his sermons while standing, then he would sit and then stand again and deliver the sermon of the hereafter." He said, "So I said, 'How were his sermons?' He said, 'He would advise the people and recite verses from the Book of Allah, and it would be concise. His prayer timings were in accordance with the rising and setting of the sun and the sky and the morning prayer and the noon prayer, except for the morning prayer and the noon prayer when Bilal would recite the call to prayer when the sun was declining, and sometimes the call to prayer would be delayed a little and sometimes he would hasten it. As for the call to prayer, it should not be delayed and the Asr prayer should be offered close to the time that you normally offer it, and the Maghrib prayer close to the time that you normally offer it, and the evening prayer should be delayed a little from your prayer timings.'"
