حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي ثنا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ فِي جَنَازَةِ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الدَّحْدَاحِ وَهُوَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ أَغَرَّ مُحَجَّلٍ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَعَهُ النَّاسُ وَهُمْ حَوْلَهُ قَالَ فَنَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ حَتَّى فَرَغَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَقَعَدَ عَلَى فَرَسِهِ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ يَسِيرُ

✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ come out for the funeral of Thabit b. al-Dahdah while he was on a white-faced horse with white feet, wearing nothing on it, and the people were with him around him. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ dismounted, then sat until it was finished, then stood and mounted his horse, then departed riding.
