حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُلَيْحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَتْ
يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلْ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى فِي زَوْجِهَا فِي الْمَنَامِ يَقَعُ عَلَيْهَا غُسْلٌ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ إِذَا رَأَتِ الْمَاءَ» فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَوَ يَكُونُ ذَلِكَ مِنَ الْمَرْأَةِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ تَرِبَتْ جَبِينُكِ مِنْ أَيْنَ يَكُونُ شَبْهُ الْخُؤُولَةِ لَا أُمَّ لَكِ أَيُّ النُّطْفَتَيْنِ سَبَقَتْ عَلَى الرَّحِمِ غَلَبَتْ عَلَى الشَّبَهِ»

✧ She said: O Messenger of Allah, is a woman required to perform ghusl if she sees in her dream that her husband has intercourse with her? He said: “Yes, if she sees the fluid.” Umm Salamah said: O Messenger of Allah, does that happen to a woman? He said: “Yes, may your forehead be covered with dust. From where does the resemblance to maternal uncles come? May you be bereft of your mother! Whichever of the two fluids reaches the womb first will prevail in determining resemblance.”
