حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَعَنْ أُمِّهِ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
كَانَتْ لَيْلَتِي الَّتِي يَصِيرُ إِلَيَّ فِيهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَسَاءَ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ فَصَارَ إِلَيَّ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ وَهْبُ بْنُ زَمْعَةَ وَمَعَهُ رَجُلٌ آخِرُ مِنْ آلِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ مُتَقَمِّصَيْنِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «وَهَلْ أَفَضْتَ بَعْدُ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ؟» فَقَالَ لَا وَاللهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَقَالَ «انْزِعْ عَنْكَ الْقَمِيصَ» قَالَ فَنَزَعَهُ مِنْ رَأْسِهِ وَنَزَعَ صَاحِبُهُ قَمِيصَهُ عَنْ رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ لِمَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ رُخِّصَ لَكُمْ إِذَا رَمَيْتُمُ الْجَمْرَةَ أَنْ تُحِلُّوا مِنْ كُلِّ مَا حُرِّمْتُمْ عَنْهُ إِلَّا مِنَ النِّسَاءِ فَإِذَا مَسَسْتُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطُوفُوا بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ صِرْتُمْ حَرَامًا كَهَيْأَتِكُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَرْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ»

✧ It was my night on which the Messenger of God ﷺ would come to me, on the evening of the Day of Sacrifice. He came to me, and Wahb b. Zam'ah entered upon me, and with him another man from the family of Abu Umayyah, both wearing shirts. The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "Have you performed the ifadah circumambulation yet, O Abu Abdullah?" He said, "No, by God, O Messenger of God." He said, "Remove your shirt from yourself." So he removed it from his head, and his companion removed his shirt from his head. Then he said, "Why, O Messenger of God?" He said, "This is a day on which permission has been given to you: when you have thrown the pebbles, you may exit ihram from everything that was forbidden to you except women. But if you have intercourse before you circumambulate this House, you become in a state of ihram as you were before throwing the pebbles."
