حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَزَّارُ ثنا أَبُو شِهَابٍ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الضَّحَّاكِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«خِلَالٌ فِيَّ سَبْعٌ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي أَحَدٍ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلَّا مَا أَتَى اللهُ مَرْيَمَ بِنْتَ عِمْرَانَ وَاللهِ مَا أَقُولُ هَذَا فَخْرًا عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ صَوَاحِبِي» فَقَالَ لَهَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ وَمَا هُنَّ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ؟ قَالَتْ «نَزَلَ الْمَلَكُ بِصُورَتِي وَتَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِسَبْعِ سِنِينَ وَأُهْدِيتُ إِلَيْهِ لِتِسْعِ سِنِينَ وَتَزَوَّجَنِي بِكْرًا لَمْ يَشْرُكْهُ فِيَّ أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَكَانَ الْوَحْيُ يَأْتِيهِ وَأَنَا وَهُوَ فِي لِحَافٍ وَاحِدٍ وَكُنْتُ أَحَبَّ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ وَبِنْتَ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ وَقَدْ نَزَلَ فِيَّ آيَاتٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ وَقَدْ كَادَتِ الْأُمَّةُ تَهْلِكُ فِيَّ وَرَأَيْتُ جِبْرِيلَ وَلَمْ يَرَهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ غَيْرِي وَقُبِضَ فِي بَيْتِي لَمْ يَلِهِ أَحَدٌ غَيْرِي وَالْمَلَكُ»

✧ 'There are seven qualities in me that were not in any other woman except what Allah gave Maryam bt. Imran, and by Allah I do not say this to boast over any of my companions.' Abdullah b. Safwan said to her, 'And what are they, O Mother of the Believers?' She said, 'The angel descended with my image. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married me when I was seven, and I was given to him when I was nine. He married me as a virgin, and no one among the people shared me with him. Revelation used to come to him while I and he were under one blanket. I was the most beloved of people to him, and the daughter of the most beloved of people to him. Verses of the Quran were sent down concerning me, and the ummah almost perished because of me. I saw Jibril, and no one among his wives besides me saw him. He was taken in death in my house, and no one attended him but me and the angel.'
