حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَخْرَمُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا خَلَّادُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ومَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِي السَّنَابِلِ قَالَ

وَلَدَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً فَتَشَوَّقَتْ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأُخْبِرَ فَقَالَ «إِنْ تَفْعَلْ فَقَدْ قُضيَ أَجَلُهَا»

✧ Subay'ah gave birth after her husband's death by twenty-three nights. She desired [marriage]. She came to the Prophet ﷺ and he was informed, and he said: "If she does, then her term has been fulfilled."
