حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيُّ قَالَا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي لَاسٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ قَالَ

حَمَلَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى إِبِلٍ مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ ضِعَافٍ لِلْحَجِّ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا نَرَى أَنْ تَحْمِلَنَا هَذِهِ؟ فَقَالَ «مَا مِنْ بَعِيرٍ إِلَّا وَفِي ذُرْوَتِهِ شَيْطَانٌ فَإِذَا رَكِبْتُمُوهَا فَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا أَمَرَكُمُ اللهُ ثُمَّ امْتَهِنُوهَا لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا يَحْمِلُ اللهُ»

✧ "The Messenger of God ﷺ mounted us on weak camels from the camels of zakat for the pilgrimage. We said: 'O Messenger of God, we do not think these can carry us.' He said: 'There is no camel but that there is a devil on its peak. When you mount them, remember God's blessing upon you as He commanded you, then use them for your needs, for it is God who carries.'"
