حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا فَهِدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ أَبُو رَبِيعَةَ ثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ شَجَرَةَ أَنَّه قَالَ

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَنَّ الدُّنْيَا قَدْ أَصْبَحْتْ وَأَمْسَتْ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَخْضَرَ وَأَحْمَرَ وَأَصْفَرَ وَفِي الْبُيُوتِ مَا فِيهَا فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُ الْعَدُوَّ فَقَدِّمَا قَدَمًا فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ رَجُلٌ خُطْوَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ إِلَّا اِطَّلَعْنَ إِلَيْهِ الْحُورُ الْعِينُ وَإِنْ تَأَخَّرَ اَسْتَحْيَيْنَ مِنْهُ واسْتَتَرْنَ مِنْهُ فَإِنْ اسْتُشْهِدَ كَانَتْ أَوَّلُ شَجَّةٍٍ مِنْ دَمِهِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِخَطَايَاهُ وَتَنْزِلُ إِلَيْهِ ثِنْتَانِ مِنَ الحُورِ الْعِينِ فَتَنْفُضَانِ التُّرَابَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ وَتَقُولَانِ مَرْحَبًا قَد أَنَى لَكَ وَيَقُولُ هُو مَرْحَبًا بِكُمَا

Translation

✧ "That the world has become filled with green, red, and yellow, and in the houses there is nothing. So if you meet the enemy, go forward, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'No man takes a step in the way of Allah except that the houris of Paradise look at him. And if he is delayed, they become shy and conceal themselves from him. And if he is martyred, the first drop of blood from him will be an expiation for his sins, and two houris of Paradise will descend upon him, shaking off the dust from his face, and they will say, 'Welcome to you.' And he will say, 'Welcome to both of you.'"
