حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا وَرْدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَنَا حَرِيزُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ النَّصْرِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ وَاثِلَةَ بْنَ الْأَسْقَعِ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مِنْ أَعْظَمَ الْفِرَى أَنْ يَدَّعِيَ إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ أَنْ يُرِيَ عَيْنَيْهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَا لَمْ تَرَ أَوْ يَقُولَ عَلَى اللهِ وَعَلَى رَسُولِهِ مَا لَمْ يَقُلْ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "Among the gravest fabrications is that a man claims descent from someone other than his father, or claims his eyes saw in a dream what they did not see, or says about God and His Messenger what they did not say."
