حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ الْعَلَاءِ ثنا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ بْنُ وَثِيمَةَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ زِبْرِيقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ قَالَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ وَاثِلَةَ بْنَ الْأَسْقَعِ يَقُولُ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ أَعْظَمَ الْفِرَى أَنْ يَتَقَوَّلَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ أَوْ يَدَّعِيَ رَجُلٌ لِغَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ يُرِيَ عَيْنَيْهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَا لَمْ تَرَ»

✧ that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Indeed, the greatest of fabrications is that one should say about me what I did not say, or that a man should claim paternity of another than his father, or that he should show his eyes in a dream what they did not see.”
