حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْوَاحِدِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ وَاثِلَةَ بْنَ الْأَسْقَعِ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ وَمَنْ أَرَى عَيْنَيْهِ مَا لَمْ يَرَ وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "The worst fabrication is that someone falsely attributes to me what I did not say, or claims his eyes saw what they did not see, or claims descent from someone other than his father."
