حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَدْرَكَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْوَهَّابِ بْنَ مُحِبٍّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْوَاحِدِ النَّصْرِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُمْ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ وَاثِلَةَ بْنَ الْأَسْقَعِ يُحَدِّثُ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنْ قَوَّلَنِي مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ وَمَنْ أَرَى عَيْنَيْهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَا لَمْ يَرَهُ وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ»

✧ From the Messenger of God ﷺ, who said, "Among the worst of fabrications is that someone attributes to me what I did not say, or claims his eyes saw in a dream what they did not see, or claims descent from someone other than his father."
