حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا ابْنُ بَشَّارٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ
بَيْنَمَا أَنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ «إِذْ نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَضَى حَاجَتَهُ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَصَبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ مِنْ إِدَوَاةٍ كَانَتْ مَعِي فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ»

✧ While I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dismounted and relieved himself. Then he came, and I poured water for him from a water skin that I had with me. He performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks.
