حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْمُقْعَدُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ثنا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنِي حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّ مِحْجَنَ بْنَ الْأَدْرَعِ حَدَّثَهُ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا هُوَ رَجُلٌ قَدْ قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ وَهُوَ يَتَشَهَّدُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِاللهِ الْأَحَدِ الصَّمَدِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي إِنَّكَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قَدْ غُفِرَ لَهُ قَدْ غُفِرَ لَهُ قَدْ غُفِرَ لَهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque and found a man who had finished his prayer and was reciting the tashahhud, saying: 'O Allah, I ask You by Allah, the One, the Eternal Refuge, who neither begot nor was begotten, nor is there to Him any equivalent, to forgive me my sins; indeed You are the Forgiving, the Merciful.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'He has been forgiven, he has been forgiven, he has been forgiven.'
