حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ الدَّبَرِيُّ أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ مِحْجَنٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَكَلَّمْتُهُ فِي حَاجَةٍ ثُمَّ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَأَنَا جَالِسٌ فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَوَجَدَنِي جَالِسًا فَقَالَ لِي «مَا أَنْتَ مُسْلِمٌ؟» قُلْتُ بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «فَمَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ مَعَنَا؟» قُلْتُ إِنِّي صَلَّيْتُ فِي رَحْلِي قَالَ «وَإِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ صَلَّيْتَ فِي رَحْلِكَ»

✧ I went to the Prophet ﷺ and spoke to him about a matter. Then the prayer was established and I was sitting. The Prophet ﷺ prayed, then he left and found me sitting. He said to me, "Are you a Muslim?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "So what prevented you from praying with us?" I said, "Indeed, I have already prayed in my saddlebag." He said, "Even if you have already prayed in your saddlebag."
