حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا أَبُو فَرْوَةَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ثنا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى الْكَلَاعِيُّ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْلَةُ الضَّيْفِ حَقٌّ وَاجِبٌ فَإِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَحْرُومًا بِفِنَائِهِ وَجَبَتْ نُصْرَتُهُ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ حَتَّى يَأْخُذُوا لَهُ بِحَقِّهِ مِنْ زَرْعِهِ وَضَرْعِهِ لِمَا حُرِمَهُ مِنْ حَقِّ الضِّيَافَةِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The night of the guest is an obligatory right. If he wakes up deprived at his dwelling place, his aid becomes obligatory upon the Muslims until they take for him his right from his crops and his livestock because of the hospitality he was denied.”
