✧ When the Prophet ﷺ was in his prayer, he would raise his hands opposite his ears, and when he said the takbir he would lower them, then he would pause. Sometimes I saw him place his right hand over his left. When he finished the Opening of the Book, he would pause; when he finished the surah, he would pause; then he would raise his hands opposite his ears, say the takbir, and bow. We would not bow until we saw him bowing. Then he would stand upright from his bowing until every limb returned to its place. Then he would raise his hands opposite his ears, say the takbir, and fall into prostration. He would make his forehead and nose touch the ground. Then he would rise as if he were an arrow, not leaning on his hands. When he sat in the last part of his prayer, he would lean on his left thigh, his right hand on his right thigh, and point with his finger when he supplicated. When he said the salam, he would quickly stand up."
