حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَنَّ حَسَنَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا الْعَاصِ بْنَ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى بْنِ عَبْدِ شَمْسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ وَكَانَ تَزَوَّجَ بِنْتَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَجِيءَ بِهِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الْفِدَاءِ فَجَاءَتْهُ زَيْنَبُ قَالَ عَمْرُو وَلَا أَظُنُّهُمَا إِلَّا أُقِرَّا عَلَى نِكَاحِهِمَا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ

✧ He informed him that Abu al-‘As b. al-Rabi‘ b. ‘Abd al-‘Uzza b. ‘Abd Shams b. ‘Abd Manaf had married the daughter of the Prophet ﷺ. He was brought to the Prophet ﷺ among the ransom captives, and Zaynab came to him. ‘Amr said: "I think they were both confirmed upon their marriage from the time of ignorance."
