حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«أَسْلَمَتْ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَزَوْجُهَا أَبُو الْعَاصِ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ مُشْرِكٌ ثُمَّ أَسْلَمَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأَقَرَّهُمَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى نِكَاحِهِمَا»

✧ Zaynab, the daughter of the Prophet ﷺ, became Muslim while her husband Abu al-‘As b. al-Rabi‘ was a polytheist. Then he became Muslim after that, and the Prophet ﷺ confirmed them upon their marriage.
