حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي ثنا الْمُسَيَّبُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أبِيهِ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْ سُئِلَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيَانِ مِنْ مَالٍ لَتَمَنَّى إِلَيْهِمَا ثَالِثًا وَلَا يُشْبِعُ ابْنَ آدَمَ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ وَيَتُوبُ اللهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “If the son of Adam were given two valleys of wealth, he would wish for a third, and nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust, and Allah turns in mercy to whoever repents.”
