حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ ثنا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ كَعْبَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا نَسَمَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ طَيْرٌ يَعْلُقُ فِي شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَهُ اللهُ فِي جَسَدِهِ يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed the soul of the believer is a bird that hangs in the trees of Paradise until Allah returns it to his body on the day He resurrects him.'
