حَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ فَارِسٍ ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَرْوَاحُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي طَيْرٍ مُعَلَّقٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى يَرُدَّهَا اللهُ إِلَى أَجْسَادِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

Translation

  5. Ibn Kaʿb b. Mālik from his father

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: 'The souls of the believers are in birds hanging in Paradise until Allah returns them to their bodies on the Day of Resurrection.'
