حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضِّ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا قَتَادَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الرَّهَاوِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمِّ أَبِيهِ هِشَامِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ عَائِشٍ الْجُرَشِيُّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَنْ يَزَالَ الْعَبْدُ فِي فُسْحَةٍ مِنْ دِينِهَ مَا لَمْ يَشْرَبِ الْخَمْرَ فَإِذَا شَرِبَهَا خَرَقَ اللهُ عَنْهُ سَتَرَهُ وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ وَلِيَّهُ وَسَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ وَرِجْلَهُ يَسُوقُهُ إِلَى كُلِّ شَرٍّ وَيَصْرِفُهُ عَنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “The servant will continue to be in an expansion of his religion as long as he does not drink wine. When he drinks it, God tears away His covering from him, and Satan becomes his guardian, his hearing, his sight, and his leg, driving him to every evil and turning him away from every good.”
