حَدَّثَنَا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْجُنْدِيسَابُورِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ ثنا مَجَاعَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ قَالَ
لَهُ رَجُلٌ طَلَّقْتُ امْرَأَتِي عَلَانِيَةً وَرَاجَعْتُهَا سِرًّا؟ فَقَالَ عِمْرَانُ «طَلَّقْتَ فِي غَيْرِ عِدَّةٍ وَرَاجَعْتَ فِي غَيْرِ سُنَّةٍ اتَّقِ اللهَ وَأَشْهِدْ»

✧ A man said to him, “I divorced my wife publicly and took her back secretly.” ʿImran replied, “You divorced outside the waiting period and took her back contrary to the Sunnah. Fear Allah and call witnesses.”
