حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا يُونُسُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ أَخَاكُمُ النَّجَاشِيُّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ» فَقَامَ فَصَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَهُ فَإِنِّي لَفِي الصَّفِّ الثَّانِي فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ
Translation

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Your brother the Negus has died, so pray over him.” He stood and we prayed behind him, and I was in the second row, and he prayed over him.
