حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ حَرِيزِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «تَفْتَرِقُ أُمَّتِي عَلَى بِضْعٍ وَسَبْعِينَ فِرْقَةً أَعْظَمُهَا فِتْنَةً عَلَى أُمَّتِي قَوْمٌ يَقِيسُونَ الْأُمُورَ بِرَأْيِهِمْ فَيُحِلُّونَ الْحَرَامَ وَيُحَرِّمُونَ الْحَلَالَ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “My community will split into seventy-some sects; the greatest of them in trial upon my community is a people who measure matters by their own opinions, thereby making lawful what is forbidden and making forbidden what is lawful.”
