حَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْحَدَّادُ ثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ وَشَرِيكٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ لَهُ غُلَامٌ لَحَّامٌ فَقَالَ
لِغُلَامِهِ اجْعَلْ لَنَا طَعَامًا يَكْفِي خَمْسَةً أَوْ سِتَّةً لَعَلِّي أَدْعُو رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَامِسَ خَمْسَةٍ فَدَعَاهُمْ وَتَبِعَهُمْ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّكَ دَعَوْتَنِي خَامِسَ خَمْسَةٍ وَإِنَّ هَذَا تَبِعَنَا فَإِنْ شِئْتَ أَذِنْتَ لَهُ وَإنْ شِئْتَ تَرَكْتَهُ» قَالَ بَلْ آذَنُ لَهُ

✧ Make enough food for our servant, five or six servings, so that I may invite the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the fifth serving. Accordingly, they invited him and a man followed them. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, you invited me for the fifth serving, and this man has accompanied us. If you wish, you may allow him, and if you wish, you may leave him." He said, "No, I will allow him."
