حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثَنَا هِشَامُ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَارِجَةَ قَالَ
كُنْتُ تَحْتَ نَاقَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهِيَ تَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَلُعَابُهَا يَتَوَسَّدُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ وَلَا يَجُوزُ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ وَالْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوِ انْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ رَغْبَةً عَنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهُ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ»

✧ I was at the side of the Prophet’s ﷺ she-camel while she was chewing her cud, and her saliva was dripping between my shoulders. I heard him say: “God ﷻ has given every possessor of a right his right. No bequest is permitted to an heir. The child belongs to the marriage bed, and for the adulterer is the stone. Whoever claims descent from other than his father, or attaches himself to other than his masters desiring to turn away from them, upon him is the curse of God, the angels, and all people. Neither a supererogatory deed nor a compulsory one will be accepted from him.”
