حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ ثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ حَدَّثَنِي عِلْبَاءُ بْنُ أَحْمَرَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو زَيْدٍ قَالَ
«مَسَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَجْهِي وَدَعَا لِي بِالْجَمَالِ» قَالَ عَزْرَةُ فَأَخْبَرَنِي بَعْضُ أَهْلِي أَنَّهُ بَلَغَ مِائَةً وَسَبْعَ سِنِينَ وَلَيْسَ فِي رَأْسْهِ وَلِحْيَتِهِ إلَّا نَبْذَاتٌ مِنْ شَعَرٍ أَبْيَضَ

✧ "The Messenger of God ﷺ wiped my face and prayed for beauty for me." ʿAzrah said: "Some of my family informed me that he reached one hundred and seven years, and there was nothing in his head or beard except a few white hairs."
