حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ ثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عِلْبَاءَ بْنِ أَحْمَرَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو زَيْدٍ قَالَ
«صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْفَجْرَ ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى حَضَرَتِ الظُّهْرُ فَنَزَلَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى حَضَرَتِ الْعَصْرُ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَأَخْبَرَنَا بِمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ فَأَعْلَمُنَا أَحْفَظُنَا»

✧ "The Messenger of God ﷺ led us in the dawn prayer, then ascended the pulpit and delivered a sermon to us until the noon prayer came. He descended and prayed, then ascended the pulpit and delivered a sermon to us until the afternoon prayer came. Then he descended and prayed the afternoon prayer, then ascended the pulpit and delivered a sermon to us until the sun had set. He informed us of what would come to pass, and the one with the best memory among us retained it."
