حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عِلْبَاءَ بْنِ أَحْمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ قَالَ
أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «ادْنُ فَامْسَحْ ظَهْرِي» فَدَنَوْتُ فَمَسَحْتُ ظَهْرَهُ وَوُضَعْتُ خَاتَمَ النُّبُوَّةِ بَيْنَ أُصْبُعَيَّ قُلْتُ وَمَا خَاتَمُ النُّبُوَّةِ؟ قَالَ «شَعَرٌ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ»

✧ I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and he said: "Come near and wipe my back." So I came near and wiped his back, and I placed the Seal of Prophethood between my fingers. I said: "And what is the Seal of Prophethood?" He said: "Hair between his shoulders."
