حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أحْمَدَ بْنِ نَصْرٍ التِّرْمِذِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَارِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ بِلَالِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَالَتِهِ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ فَقَالَ «رَأَيْتُنِي أَسْجُدُ فِي مَاءٍ وَطِينٍ» فَقُلْتُ بَيِّنْ لِي حَتَّى أَتَحَرَّاهَا؟ فَقَالَ «تَحَرَّهَا فِي النِّصْفِ الْأَوَاخِرِ» قُلْتُ فِي أَيِّ النِّصْفِ الْآخِرِ؟ قَالَ «فِي ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ»

✧ That he asked the Prophet ﷺ about the Night of Decree. He said: "I saw myself prostrating in water and mud." I said: Make it clear to me so that I may seek it out? He said: "Seek it in the latter half." I said: In which part of the latter half? He said: "In the twenty-third."
