حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الصَّلْتُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بِلَالُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَخْبِرْنِي بِلَيْلَةٍ يُبْتَغَى فِيهَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ فَقَالَ «لَوْلَا أَنْ يَنْزِلَ النَّاسُ الصَّلَاةَ إِلَّا تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ لَأَخْبَرْتُكَ وَلَكِنِ ابْتَغِهَا فِي ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ»

✧ That he said: O Messenger of God, tell me a night in which the Night of Decree is sought. He said: "Were it not that people would only descend for the prayer except on that night, I would have told you, but seek it in the twenty-third of the month."
