حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ قَالَ ثنا عَيَّاشُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الرَّقَّامُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نَكُونُ فِي بَادِيَتِنَا وَأَنَا بِحَمْدِ اللهِ أُصَلِّي بِهَا فَأْمُرْنِي بِلَيْلَةٍ مِنْ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ أَنْزِلُهَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَأُصَلِّي فِيهِ فَقَالَ «انْزِلْ لَيْلَةَ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ فَصَلِّهَا وَإِنْ أَحْبَبْتَ أَنْ تَسْتَتِمَّ إِلَى آخِرِ الشَّهْرِ فَافْعَلْ وَإِنْ أَحْبَبْتَ أَنْ تَرْجِعَ إِلَى أَهْلِكَ فَاصْنَعْ»

✧ That he said: O Messenger of God, we are in our desert, and by God's praise I pray there, so command me to one night of this month that I should descend to the mosque and pray in it. He said: "Descend on the night of the twenty-third and pray it, and if you like to continue to the end of the month, then do so, and if you like to return to your family, then do so."
