حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُقْبِلٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ الْعَلَّافُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حُوَيِّصَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ
«ضَرَبَ الْمُسْتَنِيرُ بْنُ رِزَامٍ الْيَهُودِيُّ وَجْهِي بِمِخْرَشٍ مِنْ شَوْحَطٍ فَشَجَّنِي مُنَقِّلَةً أَوْ مَأْمُومَةً فَأَتَيْتُ بِهَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَشَفَ عَنْهَا وَتَفَلَ فِيهَا فَمَا آذَانِي مِنْهَا شَىءٌ»

✧ Al-Mustanir b. Rizam the Jew struck my face with a hooked staff of shawhat wood and wounded me with a wound that reached the membrane of the brain or fractured the skull. I brought it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he uncovered it and spat into it, and nothing from it ever harmed me.
