حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ وَابنِ لَهِيعَةَ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو هَانِئٍ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنْ غَازِيَةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ يُصِيبُونَ غَنِيمَةً إِلَّا تَعَجَّلُوا ثُلُثَيْ أُجُورِهِمْ وَيَبْقَى الثُّلُثُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُصِيبُوا غَنِيمَةً تَمَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ»

✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “There is no raiding party that raids in the path of God and obtains spoils except that they hasten two-thirds of their reward, while one-third remains. But if they do not obtain spoils, their reward is complete for them.”
