حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ كُرَيْبًا حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ حِينَ أَمَرَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يَحِلُّوا بِعُمْرَةٍ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ كَانَ يَأْتِي فَيَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهُ الْحَجُّ فَيَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِحَجَّةٍ إِنَّمَا هِيَ عُمْرَةٌ»

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ commanded the people to exit the state of ihram by performing an 'umrah during the Farewell Hajj, a man would come and say, "O Messenger of Allah, it is the Hajj," and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say, "It is not the Hajj; it is only an 'umrah."
