حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْعَلَّافُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْلَا أَنَّ الْكِلَابَ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الْأُمَمِ لَأَمَرْتُ بِقَتْلِ كُلِّ أَسْوَدَ بَهِيمٍ فَاقْتُلُوا الْمعينةَ مِنَ الْكِلَابِ فَإِنَّهَا الْمَلْعُونَةُ مِنَ الْجِنِّ»

✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, 'Were it not that dogs are a community among the communities, I would have ordered the killing of every solid black one. So kill the muʿayyanah (the one with two spots above its eyes) among dogs, for it is the accursed one from the jinn.'
