حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا الْمُسَيِّبُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ
لَمَّا بَايَعَ النِّسَاءُ لَا يَتَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَى قَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَاكَ تَشْتَرِطُ عَلَيْنَا أَنْ لَا نَتَبَرَّجَ وَإِنَّ فُلَانَةَ قَدْ أَسْعَدَتْنِي وَقَدْ مَاتَ أَخُوهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اذْهَبِي فَأَسْعِدِيهَا ثُمَّ تَعَالَيْ فَبَايِعِيني»

✧ When the women pledged not to display themselves as in the first ignorance, a woman said: "O Messenger of Allah, I see you impose on us that we not display ourselves, but so-and-so has helped me and her brother has died." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Go and help her, then come and pledge to me."
