حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ أَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
لَمَّا وُضِعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حُفْرَتِهِ أَخَذَ شُقْرَانُ مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَطِيفَةً كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَلْبَسُهَا فَدَفَنَهَا مَعَهُ فِي الْقَبْرِ وَقَالَ «لَا يَلْبَسُهَا أَحَدٌ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»

✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ was placed in his grave, Shuqran, the freedman of the Prophet ﷺ, took a velvet cloth that the Messenger of God ﷺ used to wear and buried it with him in the grave. He said, “No one will wear it after the Messenger of God ﷺ.”
