حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَأَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَقَّاصٍ عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ مِنْ سَخَطِ اللهِ لَا يَدْرِي مَا بَلَغَتْ فَيَكْتُبُ اللهُ لَهُ بِهَا سَخَطَهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ يَلْقَاهُ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ مِنْ رِضْوَانِ اللهِ لَا يَدْرِي مَا بَلَغَتْ فَيَكْتُبُ اللهُ لَهُ بِهَا رِضَاهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ يَلْقَاهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, a man may speak a word that angers Allah without realizing its severity, so Allah writes His anger against him until the day they meet. And indeed, a man may speak a word that pleases Allah without realizing its significance, so Allah writes His satisfaction with him until the day they meet."
