حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ الصُّورِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ ثنا خُلَيْدُ بْنُ دَعْلَجٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ فَارَقَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ قِيدَ شِبْرٍ فَقَدْ خَلَعَ رِبْقَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ وَمَنْ مَاتَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ إِمَامٌ فَمِيتَتُهُ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ تَحْتَ رَايَةٍ عِمِّيَّةٍ إِلَى عَصَبَةٍ أَوْ يَنْصُرُ عَصَبَةً فَقَتْلُهُ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever separates from the Muslims by a span has cast off the yoke of Islam from his neck. Whoever dies without having an imam over him, his death is a death of ignorance. And whoever dies under a blind banner, rallying to a faction or supporting a faction, his killing is a killing of ignorance."
